The most important part of a shower installation happens before a single tile goes up. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own, and skipping steps in the prep work is how showers end up leaking into walls and subfloors.
We use TCNA (Tile Council of North America) approved waterproofing methods, chosen to fit your tile, layout and budget, so water that gets past the surface goes down the drain instead of into your home.
Why proper prep protects your home
Mildew on grout joints or damage to sheetrock and baseboards near a shower are usually signs of a shower that wasn’t properly prepped before tile went in. A leak can take years to show on the surface while damage builds inside the walls — by the time you can see it, a full remodel is often the only fix.

- What materials are being used for waterproofing the substrate?
- Will a flood test be performed on the shower pan?
- Does the manufacturer of the installation products offer a warranty?
- Does the contractor offer a warranty on the workmanship?
